How It Works

01

Get a quote.

Tell us your vehicle, route, and timing, and we'll respond with real pricing based on your specific shipment.

02

Book and prepare.

Once you confirm, we match your shipment to a carrier and walk you through what to prepare, whether that's a quarter tank of fuel for a domestic move or a full RoRo prep checklist for a Gulf-bound shipment.

03

Ship and deliver.

Your vehicle travels by road, ocean, or air, and we coordinate the process from pickup through final delivery.

Why Book With Barakah Holdings

Licensed and verifiable.

We're a federally licensed property broker, USDOT #4550299, MC #1807013. Look us up directly on the FMCSA's SAFER System before you book with us or anyone else.

Domestic and international.

We ship across the United States and worldwide, including the full Gulf region, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Canada, with country-by-country guides covering age limits, duty, VAT, and documentation.

Pricing based on your shipment.

Every quote reflects your actual vehicle, route, and timing, so the number you're given is the number we've worked out for your specific situation.

Carriers checked for each shipment.

As a broker, we coordinate your shipment with carriers rather than operating trucks ourselves, and we check each carrier's authority and insurance before assigning it.

Road, ocean, and air freight.

Whatever your timeline and vehicle require, we can route it: standard ground transport, RoRo or container ocean freight for international shipments, or air freight when speed matters more than cost.

What Affects Your Shipping Cost

Five key variables that shape every vehicle transport quote.

How shipping costs are calculated

Vehicle size and condition

Larger vehicles and non-running vehicles cost more to move, since they need more trailer space or specialized loading equipment.

Transport type

Open transport is the industry standard and most affordable option. Enclosed transport costs more but fully protects high-value vehicles.

Distance and route

Per-mile cost drops on longer routes, and shipments between major metro areas cost less than trips to remote locations.

Season

Winter is typically the cheapest time to ship domestically; Gulf-bound shipments depend more on vessel schedules and current freight conditions.

For international shipments

Ocean freight, marine insurance, destination port handling, and the destination country's customs duty and VAT all factor into the total.

Shipping for Your Specific Situation

Relocating for work

Domestically or to the Gulf. Plan your shipment around your actual move date.

Seasonal moves

Snowbird or otherwise. Book ahead of peak migration season for the best availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I verify that Barakah Holdings is a licensed, legitimate broker?

Look up our USDOT (4550299) and MC (1807013) numbers directly on the FMCSA's SAFER System.

Where can I find more answers?

Our frequently asked questions cover pricing, timing, insurance, preparing your car, and international shipping. Frequently asked questions

How do I get started?

Share your vehicle and route in the quote form above, or call +1 (214) 308-5009, and we'll price your shipment.

How is my shipping price determined?

Your quote is based on your vehicle's size and condition, the route, your timing, and for international shipments, the destination's freight, port, and customs costs. Tell us the details and we'll give you a specific number. How shipping costs are calculated

How long does car shipping take?

Most cross-country shipments take 7 to 12 days of active transit once the car is picked up, and shorter regional moves are faster. International timelines depend on the destination and the shipping method.

Can I ship a car that doesn't run?

Yes. Non-running vehicles ship using a winch, flatbed, or forklift depending on their condition, which generally adds roughly $100 to $500. See our non-running vehicle guide

Can I leave personal items in the car during shipping?

Up to 100 lbs of personal belongings can stay in the vehicle for domestic shipments, kept in the trunk. International RoRo shipments generally require the vehicle to be empty.

Do you ship to the entire Gulf region?

Yes, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman, by ocean freight or air.

Is my vehicle insured during transit?

The carrier assigned to your shipment carries cargo insurance on your vehicle. As a licensed broker, we also maintain the FMCSA-required $75,000 broker bond. Full details on licensing and insurance
